Temporary email
Addresses and messages are handled only to provide browser-based inbox access. After expiration, they enter the deletion process and are not kept as permanent storage.
Effective date: September 1, 2026
This policy explains what information 24Forward handles when providing temporary inboxes and alias forwarding, why we handle it, how long we keep it, and how you can request access or deletion.
Addresses and messages are handled only to provide browser-based inbox access. After expiration, they enter the deletion process and are not kept as permanent storage.
Recipient email addresses, alias status, and delivery records support forwarding, quota controls, security verification, and troubleshooting.
Security logs help prevent abuse and keep the service available. They are not used to build cross-site advertising profiles or sell user lists.
You can stop using the service, pause an alias, or contact support about applicable data requests. Identity checks help prevent impersonation.

| Aliases and delivery records | Forwarding, pausing, retrying, and reviewing | Records are typically kept for up to 30 days | Large attachments may not appear in the web archive |
| Technical and security logs | Rate limiting, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting | A limited period needed for the stated purpose | Not used to sell advertising profiles |
This policy applies to the temporary email service, forwarding dashboard, guides, and related support communications on 24forward.com. If you reach our service through a third-party website, that party’s own policy governs how it handles information you submit.
24Forward determines the purposes and methods of processing needed to operate this service. For privacy questions, email support@24forward.com; we will acknowledge your request within a reasonable time.
The temporary inbox feature handles generated email addresses, access credentials, expiration times, and the sender, subject, body, and attachment metadata of messages sent to the address. To display real message details, the service must read this content while the address remains active.
The forwarding feature handles the recipient email address you submit, email verification events, aliases you create, enabled or paused status, delivery status, and creation time. If authenticator protection is enabled, we also handle the keys and verification results required to set it up.
Servers may record request times, network addresses, browser types, API results, and security events to detect automated abuse, enforce rate limits, and diagnose faults. These records are not intended to track your browsing activity on other websites.
Browser local storage helps restore unexpired temporary mailboxes and forwarding login sessions. You can clear browser data, but doing so may immediately remove access to your current address or dashboard session.
We process data to provide the inbox, forwarding, viewing, and security-verification functions you request. We may also process it as necessary to prevent fraud, protect service integrity, and respond to lawful requests. For non-essential purposes, we will not assume that you have consented.
The service does not sell message content or recipient addresses, and it does not use temporary inbox content for targeted advertising. We use information only as needed to provide defined features, operate security measures, or meet legal obligations.
Temporary addresses are active for three hours by default and may be extended, but their total lifetime cannot exceed 24 hours. After expiration, the address and associated content enter the deletion process. Deletion may require brief queue and backup-rotation time, so expiration does not mean every copy disappears in the same millisecond.
Forwarding delivery records are typically kept in the web interface for up to 30 days. Aliases and recipient addresses remain while you continue using the management features. Some minimal records may be retained separately for as long as necessary to handle security incidents or legal disputes.
We may use infrastructure, email delivery, and security providers to process data needed to deliver the service. These providers handle information only for agreed purposes and are bound by confidentiality and security obligations.
We may disclose information to the extent necessary when required by law, to protect user safety, or to respond to valid legal process. We do not provide email addresses to data brokers for marketing-list transactions.
Internet infrastructure may cause data to be processed on servers or network nodes outside your region. When processing crosses borders, we use contracts, access controls, and other reasonable safeguards as required by applicable law.
Data protection rules vary between regions. You can contact support to learn about processing locations and available safeguards relevant to your request.
We use encryption in transit, access controls, rate limiting, and optional authenticator codes to reduce the risk of unauthorized access. No online service can promise absolute security, so do not use a temporary email address for identity documents, financial information, or medical records.
If we identify a security incident that may affect you, we will assess its scope and take any required notification and remediation steps under applicable law. You should also protect your browser sessions and recipient email account.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing, or a portable copy. Rights vary by region and record, and some requests may be limited by security needs, legal retention duties, or the rights of others.
When submitting a request, specify the recipient email address used and the scope of your request. We may ask for reasonable identity verification, but we will not require sensitive identity documents unrelated to verification.
The service does not knowingly collect personal information separately from minors where local law defines them as children, and it is not designed for schools to replace parental consent. If you believe a minor provided information without appropriate authorization, contact support.
A temporary email address is not a vault for highly sensitive files. Do not use it to transmit regulated health data, financial credentials, government identity documents, or records requiring long-term auditability.
This site may use strictly necessary session mechanisms and browser local storage to maintain your address, countdown, and login state. Cross-site advertising tracking is not required for the temporary inbox feature.
Blocking necessary storage may prevent your address from being restored after a refresh or require you to verify again. Browser settings generally let you view and clear this data.
When features, legal requirements, or processing methods materially change, we will update the date on this page and provide additional notice where appropriate. Review the latest version before continuing to use the service; significant changes will not be hidden through silent wording edits.
Send privacy requests, complaints, or policy questions to support@24forward.com. You may also complain to a data protection authority with jurisdiction.
